A chance encounter on the Orient Express resulted in laughter, love and Lou Paris, the now iconic French lingerie label. In 1946, Lou Paris founder Andre Faller met his future wife Lucienne - "Lou," for short - while riding the European luxury train. A gymnast at the time, Lucienne was passionate about dressmaking and had been making her own lingerie from an early age. With Andre's help, Lucienne turned her dream into a reality. The couple married and founded a Grenoble-based corset-making company, which eventually evolved into the lingerie brand now known as Lou Paris.
For the rest of the 20th century, Lou Paris built its reputation by designing sensuous luxury lingerie and outfitting stars such as Brigitte Bardot in perfectly fitting bras, panties and other undergarments. Now based in Paris, Lou Paris continues to design and produce high-quality women's lingerie notable for its impeccable lacework and comfortable fit.
Lou creates fashionably elegant lingerie for woman around the world, designed to suit every need, from casual lounging to romantic special occasions. The Lou style is known to be graphic and modern, offering contemporary new looks every season. Lou is recognized for its edgy spirit and expertise, making it an icon in French lingerie.
