AGRARIA
Agraria began in 1970 as the Taylor Street boutique on Nob Hill which featured books on California wines, recordings of pianist Peter Mintun and an eclectic mix of country English and French antiques. Agraria showcased their signature Bitter Orange Potpourri and original Balsam Candle and from there transformed into America's Oldest and Largest Luxury Home Fragrance Company.
Agraria’s luxury home fragrances are refreshing and luscious combining the essences of sweet aromas like California redwood, sweet balsam, French sage and bouquets of white flowers into a complex and subtle blend that permeates the air. These unique and spicy fragrances are uplifting, mysterious and androgynous in their appeal. Agraria devotees spray the cologne in the air to add sparkle to any environment and the effect is instantaneous.
Agraria’s hand-made potpourri is world-renowned for its marvelous fragrances and unique 17th century European recipes. Comprised of the most premium botanicals gathered from around the world, each fragrance is infused with essential oils during the initial blending and then sealed to “cure” or “marry” for at least six months before being hand-packed, strengthened with even more oils, and individually decorated with specimen flowers, spices or berries.
Agraria luxury perfume candles are presented in a sophisticated triple hexagon woven cane holder that has been richly antiqued to compliment the finest décor. These beautifully luminous, fragrant and clean burning candles are a special blend of vegetable-based premium soft waxes. Dim the lights and enjoy the glow and shadows cast through the woven cane as the candle burns down.
