ANDRES SARDA
Born in Barcelona, the designer Andres Sarda has always lived in the world of fashion and the textile industry, since his family has been connected to textile companies since the late 19th century. After Studying textile sciences, he began his professional career in Sarda Hermanos, which was deciated to manufacturing mantillas and among other activities, he was responsible for introducing their products into the United States and Central and South America. He was very successful, to the extent that Jacqueline Kennedy appeared on the cover of one of the USA’s top-selling magazines wearing SARDA mantilla.
From the very beginning and as a matter of principle, he rebelled against the antiquated and unattractive offer that both the domestic and international market was offering consumers. Andres Sarda’s proposal offered new collection and new models, making them functional as these garments should be, comfortable to wear, but at the same time, and above all, elegant and which would tempt women to want to buy them and enjoy wearing them all the time.
Today, Andres Sarda, Risk & University labels, which the creator designs together with his daughter Nuria, backed by an important and highly qualified technical creation team, are present at sales points in the most important cities in the world.
